Oh Dear

These will set me back a bit, but really, how can I resist? Now off to convince my husband that I really need them.

Nursing Strike

I had always assumed that a baby would give into his primal instincts and nurse when he is hungry. So when Munchie started to refuse to eat a few days ago, I went to my trusty expert (Google, of course) and found tons of articles about babies going on "nursing strikes."  Turns out, babies will stop nursing for many reasons, including teething and stuffy noses. Thank God Maddux recovered from his cold and started nursing again so I didn't have to resort to feeding him through a syringe. Yikes!

Love At First Sight

Thank you to Liebemarlene for introducing me to Steven Alan's Spring Lookbook. I am definitely ready for warmer weather to come my way, and these dresses are making me extra excited.

Barking Bird Art

If you haven't visited the Etsy website yet, then you are missing out. I only recommend browsing while you have an hour or three, as it is highly addictive.

While searching for art for Maddux's nursery, I stumbled upon Barking Bird Art and now six of her prints grace the walls in his room. I love the music themed pieces, but I'm dying to own the "You Are My Sunshine" one.

Molton Brown

I'm not a big perfume kind of girl. Heavy scents tend to irritate me, so I was happy to discover Molton Brown's Ultrasmooth Coco de Mer Body Lotion. It has a lovely fresh scent that makes me think of a cool shower after a day at the beach. Cozy, with just a hint of sunscreen. When Nate and I travel to New York City, we like to stay at the Bryant Park Hotel, where they kindly stock the brand in their bathrooms. On our last visit I made sure to steal all of the samples. But those only last so long you know, so I was happy to find more at The Cosmetic Market here in Nashville.
