I'm With The Band

So I realized that I don't blog a whole lot about my music. You guys know I love to travel, and I love fashion, and of course I love my son and husband. But I am also ridiculously passionate about the music that I create.

I moved to Nashville some time ago with the dream of being a country star. Yes, really. Over time, that dream has morphed into something far different, something a bit more tangible. There aren't many things that can compare with the thrill of pulling up to a venue that you are getting ready to play, and seeing a lining forming well ahead of show time. Or writing a new song, one that has meaning and comes from a rarely seen corner of your soul. It's scary to perform it for the first time in front of an audience. I've heard it compared to showing people your newborn baby. You want everyone to think that yours is the most beautiful.

My brothers and I have traveled the world together, performing for audiences both big and small. We have played in tiny towns like Elkton, Kentucky and in far bigger ones, like New York City. We have played when there is literally one other person in the club, or for audiences of over a thousand.

Now it's time to step it up a bit. We've just completed our first CD, and even gave in and set up a Facebook page! And we have band photos! Check them out....

Which one is your favorite?

Thank you, Leah Todd for the amazing photos!

The first and second pictures are the most fabulous. I think they most represent who you all are; as family, musicians and people. I could be wrong, but that's just my two cents. I love you all and can't wait to purchase my own copy of the demo. :)
Smooches all around!

Second and third - love, love, love them! Second one is probably the best - totally relaxed and makes me want to be there with you guys and hear what you are saying : )
